Acceptance of Terms

By using the NS Psychiatry website and booking services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our booking system. You may still contact us by phone or email to schedule appointments.

Services Offered

NS Psychiatry provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Our services are provided by board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners under the clinical direction of our medical director, Dr. Jonathan Stevens, M.D., M.P.H. Sessions with Dr. Stevens are available by contacting our admissions team directly.

We offer in-person appointments at our North Palm Beach office and telehealth appointments for patients in Florida and Texas.

Appointment Booking and Payment

When you book an appointment through our website, you are required to pay the full session fee at the time of booking. We are a self-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. We can provide a superbill upon request that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Current pricing for sessions with our psychiatric nurse practitioners:

  • Initial Consultation: $450 (up to 90 minutes)
  • Follow-Up Visit: $225 (30–45 minutes)

Sessions with Dr. Stevens, our medical director, are $950 (initial consultation) and $450 (follow-up visit).

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. NS Psychiatry does not store your credit card information on our servers.

Card on File Authorization

When you book an appointment through our website, your payment method is saved securely by Stripe for future use. By completing a booking, you authorize NS Psychiatry to charge your card on file for any applicable fees described in these Terms, including the no-show fee described below. You may request removal of your saved payment method by contacting our admissions team.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance by calling our admissions line at (561) 781-9400. Our admissions line is open 24/7.

No-Show Fee

New patient appointments missed without at least 48 hours notice are subject to a $300 no-show fee. This fee may be charged to the card on file associated with your booking. By completing a booking on our website, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Intake Paperwork

New patient intake paperwork must be completed and returned at least 48 hours before your appointment. If we do not receive your paperwork by this deadline, your appointment may be cancelled. Our admissions team will provide the paperwork and instructions after your booking is confirmed.

Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

NS Psychiatry provides outpatient psychiatric care and is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, suicidal thoughts, or a crisis:

  • Call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
  • Call 911
  • Go to your nearest emergency room

Do not use the online booking system or contact form in an emergency.

Telehealth Disclosures

NS Psychiatry offers telehealth appointments to patients located in the state of Florida and the state of Texas at the time of their appointment. Telehealth services are subject to the same standard of care as in-person visits. By booking a telehealth appointment, you acknowledge that:

  • You must be physically located in Florida or Texas during your appointment.
  • Telehealth has inherent limitations, including the inability to perform a physical examination.
  • Your provider may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for your situation and recommend an in-person visit.
  • You are responsible for ensuring a private, secure environment for your telehealth session.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
